After completing his university coursework in the United States, our founder spent several months backpacking in Brazil before graduation. It was there that he first discovered how much the places we stay can shape the experience of a journey.

Through later travels and time living abroad, he experienced many different styles of accommodation and began to think about travel from the host's perspective—not only as a guest, but as someone creating the experience for others.

That idea led to the launch of a vacation rental business in 2015 and the establishment of Bolte Inc. in 2017.

Today, under the concept of creating a "Living Experience" that Bridges the World and Japan, Bolte operates vacation rentals and accommodation properties, provides management services for property owners, and offers furnished monthly rentals in Tokyo.
